Three Branches of  Government

A legislator is a member of government who helps make our laws.  Congress is the law making group.  We elect them to serve in the  U.S.  government.  To veto is to reject a bill that has been passed by a law making group.  Veto power is held by the president, a mayor,  or leader of a city or town.
